As a result of COVID-19, the food and hospitality industries were severely impacted, so I wanted to think of innovative solutions to help these businesses. For my master's research project, I explored how restaurants can implement emerging technologies such as web-based augmented reality (WebAR) with QR code menus. In the end, I produced three unique AR experiences:

1. Coaster to Drink Menu 🍹
2. 3D Food Menu 🍰
3. Interactive Food Promo 🍔

Along with two other facilitators, we presented digital literacy topics to participants in various programs from Youth Employment Services (YES). I was responsible for presentating about Microsoft Powerpoint and similar features in Google Slides.

Hosted by Ryerson Library's Collaboratory, Michael Carter-Arlt, Jae Duk Seo, and I will be discussing our experiences using WebAR.
